Is this a real tree risk assessment?

No. This is an automated triage check that uses five short inputs to produce a preliminary Low / Moderate / High indication. The result is informational only and is not a substitute for an on-site TRAQ inspection by a credentialed arborist.

What does "Moderate" actually mean?

It means one or more inputs you provided suggest this tree is worth a closer look. Moderate is the most common result for property owners who notice deadwood, recent leaning, or proximity to targets — and the right next step is the consultation intake so an on-site visit can be scoped.

Will my answers be saved if I don't leave contact information?

No. The screening request is computed against the on-page form and a record is stored only as long as needed to deliver the preliminary indication. If you don't share contact details, the submission data is associated with no one.

What if my tree isn't listed in the species dropdown?

Pick Other / Not sure. Species is used to flag known failure-prone trees (eucalyptus, cottonwood, certain pines) — but the tier is dominated by what you are seeing and where the tree sits, so a wrong species won't materially mislead the result.

Should I call an arborist if the result is Low?

Yes, if any of the answers you gave are guesses, if the conditions have changed since you filled this out, or if the tree is anywhere near a structure, a play area, or a property line. A Low result here rules nothing out.
